Wimonitor has been founded in 2017 with the idea of exploiting the technology to advantage the care for people, fostering people independence and staying at home for elderly and frail people. This allows them to live autonomously at their homes as long as possible and, on the other hand, it enables caregivers and family members to have effective instruments to have a feedback on people activities, promptly signaling any anomaly.
The partners have many years of experience in both the research and development of useful instruments and the knowledge of specific market needs in these contexts. Since 2023 Wimonitor s.r.l. is no longer in the inovative startup section of the registry.

The project has been financed on the Operative Program FESR 2014-2020 of the Autonomous Province of Trento also with the support of the European Regional Development Fund.
